Peter Oas

Peter is a software engineer at Revelry. Originally from Durham, North Carolina, he now lives in Asheville, where he enjoys the nearby mountains and outdoor lifestyle. He holds a bachelor's degree in Cultural Anthropology and completed Momentum, a full-stack coding bootcamp in Durham, which jumpstarted his career in software development. Driven by a lifelong curiosity and passion for solving challenging problems, Peter found coding to be the ideal outlet for his creativity and technical skills. Specializing in Elixir and the Phoenix framework since 2019, Peter enjoys crafting elegant solutions that positively impact users. Prior to his tech career, Peter worked as a rock climbing guide, exploring climbing spots across the U.S. Outside of work, he enjoys outdoor adventures such as climbing, biking, rafting, and tinkering with bikes.
