I spent the first five years of my career in publishing. Eventually, the corporate culture took its toll, and I longed for something more fulfilling. Eight months, three part-time jobs, and a lot of soul searching later, I found my home at West Elm’s headquarters in Brooklyn where I put my project management and copywriting skills to work. In 2017 my husband and I welcomed our baby boy Pete to the world a little sooner than expected. His early arrival meant a career change for me. A stay-at-home mom I would be for the next two years. While this wasn’t my plan, it was the greatest privilege (and the biggest challenge) of my life to date. After six wonderful years in New York City and the Lower Hudson Valley, New Orleans called us home. Eager to learn something new, I decided to start fresh in the world of tech. I’m thrilled to be part of such a great company where I get to use my eye for detail and my writing skills as a Quality Assurance Tester. I also enjoy contributing my editorial talents to Revelry’s blog. When I’m not at work you can find me enjoying the outdoors with my family and friends or volunteering in the NICU at Children’s Hospital.
